DLN is not only hear to entertain you as our reader but we also want to help out the ones most in need. We all have a friend who may drink a little too much, party a little too hard, and loses control often. It is our duty to help them out and make sure their time here on earth is not cut short.

People join A.A. because they finally gave up trying to control their drinking. They still hated to admit that they could never drink safely. Then they heard from other A.A. members that they were sick. (They thought so for years!) They found out that many people suffered from the same feelings of guilt and loneliness and hopelessness that they did. We found out that they had these feelings because they had the disease of alcoholism.
